Car seats & Strollers are expensive!!

I didn't realize that here lately, most car seats are now sold in combinations with their matching strollers now. It made it 100% easier when I had my son in 2012, but now that we're expecting two, it's frustrating! It's just as cheap to buy the set as it is to purchase the carseat by itself (in most cases)!! I originally had thought that the cribs would be our biggest expense, but once I started researching these strollers & seats I thought otherwise!!
THANKFULLY an old high school friend of my SO's messaged and said that she had a double stroller for sale- her son didn't like it and it'd only been used a couple of times. We picked it up yesterday (for 150.00) and she was right- it's like brand new!! Once I knew what we were buying for a stroller, then I was able to be able to figure out what car seats we could buy (you have to go by the make of the stroller- this one I bought is Graco).
A friend of mine shared a photo on Facebook of a store nearby ( a Liquidation store) that just had one (I wish two) of the seats I need come in and was on sale for 79.99!!! I couldn't find it anywhere online under 150.00!!! It's brand new in its box, and doesn't expire until 2019!
So what I figured originally would cost me close to 700.00 isn't going to! All I need now is one more car seat to finish it off, and I'm only at 250.00 spent so far :)
March is gonna be a great month ;)
