Cherish Life, it can be taken in the blink of an eye....

Well after a week of hell and best rest I'm finally back on my feet and back to work. On Monday May 28th I was T boned after picking up my precious 2 year old daughter by a 16 year old with no drivers lisence in a stollen SUV. He was going 90km per hour in a 50km per hour zone. He smashed into the side of my vechile. Luckily I was wearing my seat belt and had my little girl strapped securily in the back seat in her car seat. 911 was called immidiately and we were taken to hospital. The boy that hit us got out of his vehicle and ran from the scene like a coward. After an ambulance ride to the hospital my 2 year old daughter, myself and baby seem to be doing fine. I have very bad whip lash and seat belt burns across my sweet little baby bump. My daughter is very shaken up but we are alive and well. The baby's heart beat had dropped and they wanted me to lay low for 1 week so they put me on bed rest. I had numerous ultrasounds in between to make sure baby was well. There baby was, kicking inside like crazy and happy as can be. A little trooper already. The next morning after the accident, and close friend and groomsman in our wedding had a massive heart attack and passed suddenly. Leaving behind his wife and 4 children, youngest being a 3 year old boy. Life if precious. Cherish every second. Always tell the ones you love that you love them. And kiss your babies a lot!! On to my 18th week now. Hopefully things resume as normal!!

I am so glad you all are ok!!! and you are so right.. we need to not take for granted those we love the most because you never know when they will be here one minute and gone the next.. or even ourselves.. we may not be here tomorrow.
