Today is Saturday and my husband and I had a tour of the birth place at the hospital we be delivering our baby at. When we walked into the lobby I felt kinda stupid because it looked like everyone was a lot farther along than me. No one really talked at all and so I never did find out when everyone was due. Oh well, I will probably never run into any of them so I will move on with my life. When we were on the tour and in the labor and delivery room, the tour guide was talking and all of the sudden one of the pregnant moms sat down on the floor. When asked if she was ok she shook her head no. The tour guide opened the door and called for help from the nurses. They rushed in and took good care of her, getting her a cold cloth for the back of her neck, some ice water and a wheel chair. Good thing she sat herself down because she would have fainted if she kept standing. After a few minutes she seemed better but really embarrassed about what had just happened. Then we all walked to the postpartum room and this time some of us moms got to sit on the big couch in the room. The lady who almost fainted sat beside me and was still a little embarrassed, I told her not to worry about it at all, that it could have happened to anyone of us. On our tour we passed the nursery, but there were only 2 babies in it and were far away from the window. I just love seeing babies and I was disappointed that we didn't get to see a brand new one! Oh well, only 19 more weeks till I hold my little Owen in my arms. There was a lady (who had a hospital gown on) and her husband hanging out in the waiting room on the labor and delivery floor with their little girl and her grandma. When we all got off the elevators, the mom in the gown said "ok, I guess we will go now" and the grandma said to the little girl "the next time you see your mommy she will have your new brother or sister with her". The lady in labor seemed so calm and that it was no big deal, ok I guess I will go have a baby now. I though it was cute :)

Then after the tour my husband and I went out for lunch. I chose to go to a bbq place because it has been sounding really good for the past month or so. It was really good and the beef was super tender. I could have eaten the whole thing except I knew I would be miserable. It is too easy to eat too much and be miserable when your stomach is being smooshed by a baby in your tummy!

It is really sad when your kids are gone for the weekend and you and your husband could go out and do something fun but all you want to do is go home and take a nap. Oh well, I guess I need to enjoy it while I can as I will be going back to work full time on Wednesday. The summer went by super fast, and I really think these next 19 weeks will go by super fast as well! On Monday we have our 20 week ultrasound...super duper excited!!!
