It was the day Luke was heading back to Afghanistan from R&R. His flight was at 9:00am so I had to get up at 5:15--of course I took a test first thing and, sure enough, there was a line! I faint line, but a line nonetheless. :) I couldn't show Luke cuz I know he would just question the faintness of the line and that's no fun so I had to think of something else. While we were at the airport I asked a woman to take a picture of us as a family. She said she'd love to help, but her husband was much better than that. We gathered the kids and he got a great pic! As Luke and I checked it out I said, "this is a great picture of everyone and it's super special because it's the first picture of us as a family of six!" Luke smiled and said, "are you telling me?" and I said "yes!" He was so happy and said it totally made his R&R even though it was already great!

On July 1, 2011 at 3 weeks 1 day pregnant
First Positive Pregnancy Test
I took a test at 8 DPO and expected it to be negative. Looked at it a little while and then set it aside. Later in the day I looked at it and swore I saw a super faint blue line. Thought it was it but could be an evap and was so faint. The next morning Luke was leaving to go back to Afghanistan so I took a first response and saw another very faint line. BFP! Took another later in the day and it was much easier to see. So happy with the timing because I was able to tell Luke in person before he left. He was just beaming--so so happy and I teared up a bit:).
