On March 14, 2013 at 3 weeks 6 days pregnant
Announced Pregnancy to Family
I told my family that we were expecting a baby - My sister and I are very close and she was with me through all of the tests and of course, my first doctor appointment as my husband has a full time job.

My daughter has been asking for a brother or sister for about 4 years now - she is 8. When we told her, she was thrilled and asks about the baby all of the time!

My family was very happy - we shared hugs and tons of laughs!

Next, to tell my husband's family!

Told Husband/Partner
I told my husband that I was pregnant on March 10, 2013. The line was very faint and he said that he wouldn't believe it until the line was darker and it was confirmed by my doctor - I told him that I did not care, I am pregnant and that's it!

On March 14, 2013 I got a very strong positive - he said he believed but was waiting to hear from the doctor that day.

I took my positive test to the doctor with me and he said he wasn't going to do the confirmation urine test because my HPT was enough to convince him - that and I had taken pictures of all of the tests and he was able to see the progression of the darkening line.

My husband finally believes and is surprisingly just as excited as I am!!!!!!!!!!!

First Positive Pregnancy Test
I had a strange feeling that I was pregnant. It was very early and I didn't think that I would get a positive HPT - I forced myself to wait until March 10, 2013 - AND IT WAS POSITIVE!!!!! I was 3w2d.
