Started Childbirth Classes
Mommy dad daddy went to learn all about what to expect on the day that you arrive. was very interesting and we got to watch videos too, that was quite scary. Daddy learnt quite a lot and we also got to see alot of products that will be good for us to buy for you.

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
i was lying on my side on the couch and had my hand on my tummy on the left hand side and all of a sudden i felt a slight knock - i cant say kick because it could have been an elbow or she might have been giving me a high five - i got so excited and asked my husband to feel, he unfortunately didnt feel a "knock" but he said he could feel movement almost like when someone swims passed you in a swimming pool.

it was so exciting and i can still feel the knock against my hand!!!!

Announced Baby's Gender to Family
I had an appointment with my OB and he confirmed that it is a little girl. I called my mom immediately and then started texting everyone - it was a wonderful moment. Unfortunately I did not get a photo of the scan showing it was a little girl but it is a picture that will be in my memory forever.

Found Out Baby's Gender
IT'S A GIRL!!!! yay, regardless of what our little would be we would've been happy but the moment the doctor confirmed my feelings i just saw PINK!!!! my own little girl, mommy was very excited and you could see daddy immediately had a sparkle in his eye.

First Prenatal Appointment
This is the day we went to the Gynecologist for the first time. I was about 8 weeks pregnant and really couldnt wait any longer to see my little Squishy (at this time that is what we called her) It was much a special moment for both daddy and mommy - so glad daddy was able to video tape what was going on - cant wait to show her one day.

Picked a Name
We decided if you are a boy Daniel James and if you are a girl Rebecca Joy. Daddy and I cant wait to know whether you will be a little girl or a little boy and we cant wait to start calling you by your name.

Told My Boss About My Pregnancy
After coming back from Christmas Holiday everyone in the office knew except my boss. I was feeling very nauseas the one morning and my boss asked me if i was feeling ok and then cracked a joke and said "are you pregnant?" i went straight to my desk and sent an email to everyone letting them know i was expecting.

Announced Pregnancy to Family
I suspected something was up so I took 2 pregnancy tests, I then went through to the Lounge and showed my husband - who was at a loss for words. on the 2nd January my mother and father took me to the doctor where I had a blood test done, The doctor phoned me that same afternoon with the results and needless to say I told everyone I could. The most difficult person to tell was my sister is australia - i would have really loved to have seen her reaction and given her a big hug but unfortunately being so far away i just had to imagine it.

First Positive Pregnancy Test
I had missed my period and decided to do a home pregnancy test - no one knew about it except me - My sister was leaving to go to Australia and I had told her i was 3 days late, but wanted a test to confirm. Later that day i did a test and sent a picture to my mother, you couldn't see to clearly if it was 2 lines as the one was very faint. My mom told me to go to the pharmacy and do another one in the morning, which i did and the second line was alot darker - this is when i told my husband.

Told Husband/Partner
My home test turned positive and I told daddy it was positive but we both wanted to wait til i went for the blood tests to confirm which i went for on the 2/01/2013. but mommy did suspect and of course 3 home tests that all said positive were enough for her to be convinced.
