We didn't really go off for the weekend or anything, but we did go to the movies and go to a nice restraunt. I thought it would be a good idea to go do something that we won't be able to do once Kennedy arrives, at least not without finding a babysitter - and who knows when I'll be ready to leave her with someone else...

I painted her name on canvas to hang above her crib - I would've like to hang them closer to the crib ... but didn't wan't her to be able to reach them. I also painted the other canvas which reads "Childhood is the most beautiful of all lives seasons."

First Positive Pregnancy Test
My husband and I were going to my best friend's birthday part. I was a few days late so decided to take a test (just incase) and it was positive! I didn't think I would be pregnant - so much so I didn't even tell my husband I was taking the test - I just took it so that I could be sure before I went out and had a drink to celebrate my friends bday!! So glad I took that test now :)

My 1st child came out pretty normal..no inducing..took me 13 hrs though because I dont dilate either lol both kids were 13 hrs each,had an abrasion to my bag around 11pm with both births & they were both born around 3, hopefully this one goes the same way :)
	Comment from bparrish1231 » Posted Sep. 28, 2011 9:09am Just Braxton Hicks :( No real contractions.... I went to the doctor yesterday I'm only 1 cm dilated, not effaced, and my cervix is still high. (The same as it's been for the past 4 weeks - no progress what so ever.) She stripped my membranes, well tried to, but she said I was a tight one cm so it was hard to do, but we'll see if it helps. I go back next Thursday and we'll discuss induction if I havn't had her by then. Thanks for asking!!

	Comment from bparrish1231 » Posted Aug. 30, 2011 8:48am Yeah I can imagine... this is my first and I've learned that there isn't much that isn't normal lol ... everyone and every pregnancy is different. And no its not like that everyday, but most of the time you can definately tell which side she is favoring - you can tell the most when I sit down for some reason - even though you would think it would be the other way around lol. This baby already has a mind of her own :)

Mine is always big & round lol...Never had a lopsided belly though ha ha ha...is it like that for you everyday?? I looked at your pictures but there all side views so I couldn't tell that your baby was to the side....I just worry about it since its my 3rd pregnancy & a bit different,I hate change :(
