Went out to a nice sit-in restaurant to have dinner and talked about the new arrival coming soon. Ryan got to spend the night at his grandparents and have dinner and a movie with his papa & nana.

The baby shower was a blast! Annouced her name for the first time by wearing a shirt we had embroidery "Coming Soon -name- " on the belly. Total of 20 guests.

Prental Tests: Group B Strep Test (GBS)
Checked cervix for dilation-not dilated
Start going weekly for prenatal check-ups

On December 27, 2013 at 24 weeks 2 days pregnant
Prental Tests: Glucose Challenge Test

This is the most dreaded appointment for me..having to sit in the doctors office for a complete hour then get blood work done not to mention at the time I was still having nauseous/vomiting episodes and forcing a glucose drink down by a certain time was making me feel worse than ever. Test results came back NEGATIVE!

Announced Baby's Gender to Family
We put "IT'S A GIRL" confetti in a black balloon to hide the color then had the grandparents pop the balloon to reveal the gender. The event was a must see watching all the confetti fly. <3

Initially we were suppose to find out in December but she was breeched.

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
It was so hard believe that I was indeed pregnant until those first little flutters even though the doctor done confirmed, I heard a heartbeat and seen the baby on ultrasound. The baby's movement was the reward for everything I had gone through so far. Knowing the familiar sensation I was able to detect way earlier than with my first.

I teared up and my heart just melted once I heard that precious life beating inside me.

I teared up and my heart just melted once I heard that precious life beating inside me.

Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
I can remember clearly how I felt the first time that I heard the clippity clop of my baby's heart beat it had me watery eyed and just melted my heart knowing that precious life was inside my still small belly.

First Positive Pregnancy Test
We planned for our second so I just had that gut feeling that I was pregnant before the HPT could even detect the HCG. Just listening to my body as it was giving me every common symptom of early pregnancy I decided to test and got a faint positive(12dpo). The first person I told was my DH he was just as excited as I was to finally get what we had been waiting for.

Told Husband/Partner
I took a HPT it showed a faint positive then told my DH the news we had been waiting for and he was just as excited as me.
