On December 26, 2015 at 41 weeks 2 days pregnant
Picked a Name
The baby was almost a week old and i couldnt pick between Lucan or Daniel but i finally settled on Lucan Daniel Derrick Stone

Went Into Labour
I woke up on saturday morning with a sore back by about 10am i suuspected i could be going into labour, by 9pm i was definitely having contractions around 2.30am on sunday i headed into the hospital at 5am i was fully dialated but the hospital staff were too busy to do anything, at 6am i felt the need to start pushing and the midwife told mi to just push when i felt the need then she left the room for almost an hour at 7am after change over i finally hada nurse/midwife there and at 7.48 i hada beautiful baby boy.

Baby Dropped
Well the babys been slowly droping for over a month now but for the last week hes been so low the midwife struggled to find his head.

Finished Anti-natal Classes
Tonight was mi last anti-natal class its been a 6 week course one night a week and it was really good i meet great people and learnt inportant things.
Really enjoyed it.

Packed for the Hospital/Birth Center
Its taken me afew weeks but i finally finished packing my hospital bag today.

Baby Shower
I was told we were going to a BBQ for mi brother-in-laws nanas 90th birthday so i was completely surprised when it turned out to be mi baby shower mi sister had been planing it for weeks. There were blue decorations, blue punch with little ducks floating in it, multi coloured cupcakes and a fruit dish made out of a watermalon shaped into a pram with a little rock melon baby in it.
The day was great and im really thankful mi family went to all the trouble to do a baby shower for me.

Started Wearing Maternity Clothes
I brought mi first offical maternity top today its not really anything special just black with thin white stripes across but it does give me a nice shape and is extreamly comfortable.
It does suprise me how little maternity clothes are available in shops apparently pregnancy season is just about to start according to the warehouse...i didnt know babys were seasonal.

Seperated from mi partner. (For him we weren't enough)

Husband/Partner Felt Baby Move for the First Time
We were lying in bed and my partner was cuddling me with his arm across mi tummy and baby decided to kick hard aganst his arm. I didnt know if he felt it so i laughed and seid "baby just kicked ur arm did u feel it?" and he seid yes.
So that was a nice moment <3

Found Out Baby's Gender
So we were in the ultrasound and the lady says "there's the umbilical cord and there's a leg and there's another leg and that's not a leg" then she told us its a boy

Announced Baby's Gender to Family

Felt My Baby Move for the First Time
I was down in Hamilton for my sisters house warming it was around 8.30pm we had recently gotten home from the house warming and i was on the phone to jj when i felt the baby kick at the bottom on my tummy it felt like a a tiny muscle suddenly tightened like a muscle reflex

On July 15, 2015 at 17 weeks 6 days pregnant
Brought Baby's First Book
I saw a this little book called "A Gift From The Rainbow Fish" based on a book they use to read when i was at primary school.
It was small with a beautiful velvet spine and pictures with a little sparkle and even a pop up page at the end so i thought it'd be a great first book

On June 30, 2015 at 15 weeks 5 days pregnant
Heard Baby's Heartbeat for the First Time
It sounded like a tiny locomotive train. Fast and steady.

On May 7, 2015 at 8 weeks 0 days pregnant
First Ultrasound
I was scared because this ultrasound would confirm whether i was or wasn't pregnant till the ultrasound i didn't let myself get to excited just incase the first test had been wrong i was terrified there would be nothing there so when i saw that baby in me i was SO relieved i hadn't even realized id been holding my breath till the ultrasound lady said "look there it is can u see it". Sometime i still cant believe its real but im so happy.

First Positive Pregnancy Test
I went to the doctor with a few symptoms not expecting anything as i had previously had showen symptoms and missed 6 months of periods without being pregnant so when the test came back positive me and the doctor were both quite surprised. I was terrified that it was a mistake so i didn't let myself get mi hopes up till i got the scan and blood test to be sure

On April 1, 2015 at 2 weeks 6 days pregnant
Told Husband/Partner
Id just got the good news from the doctor, jj wasnt with me as he was seeing his own doctor.
So i left the doctors office walked over to jj and handed him the midwife card (that doctor tina had given me) he took it with a look like "what is it" then looked at the card properly and got a huge smile in his face i knew he'd be happy as he loved kids and wanted one but was told by doctors before we met that he basically couldn't have children, so it was like a miracle to him.
He was so excited the first thing he wanted to do was go tell his mum.
