On May 23, 2016 at 9 weeks 2 days pregnant
Announced Pregnancy to Family
Drew started something at the end of last year called the Awesome Jar. The ides is to write down anything you think is awesome and put the paper in the jar. We have all been doing it and the jar was getting full so we decided to open it up and read what everyone had put. One of Drew's said "Abigail gets to be a big sister!!" (Which is pretty awesome!) Abi didn't quite get it at first but Isabell just kept saying, "Wait - WHAT??" Both girls are super excited and can't wait for the baby. Abi has already started a list of names. After that we called our parents and shared the news with them. Everyone was overjoyed. It was AWESOME. I can't wait to start putting stuff in the Awesome Jar again.

First Ultrasound
I was VERY nervous going in to this appointment, but I got to see the heartbeat for the first time! It was the BEST thing I have ever seen in my entire life! :)

On April 12, 2016 at 3 weeks 3 days pregnant
First Positive Pregnancy Test
I got the faintest line on a home pregnancy test and decided to wait until the next day to take another to be sure. I stopped at the pharmacy on the way to work and bought a digital test so I'd get a clear yes or no. Once I bought the test there was no way I was going to wait until the next day! I took the test as soon and I got to work. Waiting for the digital test was the longest 3 minutes EVER! When it popped up and said "YES+" I immediately starting crying and called Drew.
