I gained 12 pounds with my daughter, I'm hoping to gain 20 pounds this time around. I lost 20 pounds right after delivery and became sick. This time hopefully I can gain 20 and keep some of it! I had horrible morning sickness with my daughter, hoping not to have it as bad this time around. I'm only 5 weeks 4 days.

I gained 70-75 lbs with my first pregnancy about 8 years ago, I don't want to repeat that!
I also lost the 75 lbs and then some, but gained it back over the years..
Considering that my pre-pregnancy weight this time round is 11 lbs MORE than I weighed full term with my daughter I hope my body understands that weight gain is unnecessary... fingers crossed for no more than the 11-20 lbs advised by the calculator... :)

momoftrc - I understand your anxiety at gaining 70lbs (I am overweight and was overweight pre-conception) but NEVER hope for morning sickness it's awful lol! GL and all the best :)

I am currently 31weeks 1day and and have only put on 4.4 pounds. I was overweight to begin with, and I'm not worried, as I'm still eating well and baby seems fine. Getting very tired though. This is bubs no 3. My other 2 being 5&6. It's a little harder being pregnant and chasing after my other two. But the doc says that me and the bubs are fine despite my lack of weight gain.
