About Me

My name is Jessa, I am twenty-two years old and I am I pregnant with my second child. My first child's name is Julian, he was born February 18th, 2010. He's two in a half and on Monday July 16th 2012 I took a home pregnancy test which confirmed I am indeed pregnant with my second child.

My fiance's name is Devin. He was a firefighter until he shattered his knee when a house collapsed on him during a fire. He is now a chef. Just recently finishing up his masters degree at the California le cord on blue culinary arts school.

We haven't set a date for the wedding yet, or even told our families, but we are thrilled that our little family is growing.

My Birth Plan

My OB-GYN that delivered my first son and handled all my prenatal care retired just last month. I was really hoping to work with her again during my second pregnancy. My GP family doctor has recommended me to a new OB. Still waiting on a meeting with her.

I don't plan on using any drugs during the birth. I want my delivery to be as natural as my last one. With my first son I was in labor for 10 hours and pushed for 10 minutes and I did it without any relief or meds and that's what I plan to do this time as well.

Thanks for the friendly reply! We're all in this together, so if anyone else can benefit from my experience, I'm happy :) I'm hoping Mom will eventually come around, although it's livable with her right now, at least!

Thanks for the assurance! I kind of figured it was that too. I had been smoking cigarettes since I was 15 and had a very stressful year. It's just so weird because when I wake up I feel as if I'd smoked one! Last night's was better. Dreamed we had a baby boy :)
