About Me

My names Ashley! I got pregnant with my daughter when I was 19, had her after I turned 20. I was induced at 3 am on February 10, 2009. It was an uncomplicated pregnancy until at the end, when the labor & delivery nurse messed up by saying I was fully dilated when I wasn't. Also I had a slight oxygen problem at the time, and my contractions were so strong that my daughters heart rate dropped to 50 bpm in utero. She was taken via cesarean section on February 10, 2009 at 7:33 pm. She weighed 6 lbs 6 oz and was 18.5 inches long. I then left her biological father on May 29, 2010. I couldn't take the mental, emotional, and physical abuse any longer.

I got with my current guy on July 15, 2010. I had surgery January 2011, and was diagnosed with endometriosis in February 2011 (also a NORMAL pap). We suffered a miscarriage in April 2011. Had another pap February 2012, and another miscarriage in April 2012. Saw my dr in August 2012, and she gave me a bloodwork order so I could have a progesterone stick ASAP after the next positive HPT, which I got on February 9, 2013. I got the progesterone stick on February 14, 2013. At the first appointment on February 19, 2013, I was informed that my progesterone was 9. I was started on 25mg vaginal progesterone suppositories twice a day. I was set up for a dating scan on February 22, 2013. We saw the yolk sac, baby, and baby's heartbeat (110). Also had my prenatal labs and my second progesterone stick. March 13, 2013, I went to pickup a paper and was sent for my third progesterone stick (12). Drs appointment on March 22, 2013, pap, and they found the baby's heartbeat (160). Set up for an ultrasound on April 10, 2013.

My Birth Plan

I want to try an unmedicated VBAC. My Drs office has no problems with a VBAC attempt. She is getting the records from my previous obgyn, to find his reasoning for the cesarean, since I'm not sure of his reasons. I know I'll probably wimp out and beg for an epidural.
