About Me

After my first term pregnancy ended in pre-term labor, it took me 4 months to conceive again. First born child passed and I am a bit nervous this time around. I had a natural bith at 24 wks and 5 days the first time around. This time my ob is taking precautions to keep my baby safe and inside until it is time to come out, via cervical cerclage I don't know how long it will take to heal and how long I'll be on bedrest but as long as my little bug is kept safe.

My Birth Plan

I plan on tring to do natural birth again it all felt so worth it the first time around. If I can't handle the heat, I will be trying epidural this time around. My fiancee` and mother should be there for the birth.

Comment from Shylarochelle1 » Posted Sep. 26, 2011 3:18pm I had a cerclage as well. mine was called a rescue cerclage i had it done at 23 weeks 3 days. Mine was successful for the fact that my son is safe and healthy so far! the only part that wasnt the greatest was i ended in ICU after the cerclage for 2 weeks. NOT FUN! and bed rest for the duration of the pregnancy is even worse but i know it will be worth it in the end. I am now 25 weeks 2 days and so far so good. I wish the best for you though and everything goes ok this time for you
