HEY!! Thats so cool that you're from Victoria! My husband and I are from Lloydminster, its about 2 hours from Edmonton! I don't see very many people from Canada on here! How are you feeling? Do you know what you're having??

Yep! changed BACK to sept 14th like it originally was, well actually if we were to base on LMP it would be sept 16th but I know for a fact I o'd on 12/23-24th ish. I just had my anatomy scan and sure enough he measured exactly for a due date of sept 14th like I thought so THAT due date IS official. Finally. Before I was like "I am due somewhere between sept 8th-15th" lol..

girl dont EVEN worry about it. I know what you mean. This is our first pregnancies so we are going to be overly worried anyways but then when there are all these horror stories all around me.. it does not help one bit. If you EVER have bad gut feelings ALWAYS follow them no matter what!!! I met up with a doula today, so far she seems like the right fit but she was even cool enough to tell me she always has a doppler on her and if I ever get freaked out to just stop on by her office and we will take a listen. I thought that was pretty awesome. Never feel ashamed or embarrassed for asking too many questions or being concerned. :) Glad you got to hear lil ones heartbeat!

You sound like a really neat gal! My husband and I chose to have several fun years together first - just like you guys. I am so glad we did. We've had time to explore and really discover who we are as a couple before the complications and distractions of parenting. Of course, now we are READY! Best of luck to you guys. And... what is the BC in Victoria BC Canada?

ya know here in the states if the pregnancy is healthy and normal we usually only get one or two as well. Usually one around 8 weeks to verify if its a viable pregnancy with a heartbeat and then the anatomy/gender scan at 18-20 weeks as long as everything is normal. If things become high risk than there are others. I have been lucky actually. I have had now one at 5 weeks, 6 weeks 3 days, 7 weeks 4 days, 16 weeks 5 days and 16 weeks 6 days where I was told i was actually 17 weeks 6 days. My next will be may 4th for my anatomy/gender scan and I will be 21 weeks 6 days. My midwife is pretty damn cool though. I could see her giving me at least another one or two this pregnancy... I think she wants to monitor Liam's growth a bit more than normal since I am so petite and my husband is big and tall.

awww so precious!! sooo sucks though they couldn't just move the probe down just a bit even for a half a minute to see what the gender is! still don't get canada's 24 week gender deal!! I thought 18-20 weeks was bad here in the states! lol... i dont remember do you guys have any names thought of for either gender???? aww.. i am so glad you got to see him/her today! I can't wait to see my lil guy again next friday!!! :D
