Age: 33 years old

It's A Girl!

Annabelle
Born on April 16, 2012 at 9:02pm
Born at 40 weeks and 4 days

Weight: 9 lbs 3 oz
Length: 20 inches

Labour & Delivery
Delivery: Vaginal with Assistance (forceps/suction)
Pain Relief: Epidural - Full
Duration of Labour: 9 hours

Annabelle's Birth Story

water broke12:30 pm. When I got to the hospital I was already at 5cm and 100%effaced (trip to the hospital was maybe 20 minutes). I had been to the hospital the night before was only at 2cm with no effacement. Tried no pain meds. Had a shower. But the pain was so good I started throwing up. The gas only made me worse. Moprhine and gravol mix didn't stop the vomiting so I ended up getting an epidural about 5.5 hours into my active labour. By the time I was ready to push I could feel the contractions in my back again but couldn't feel anything else. The cord was tangled around her foot so we had to use the vacuum.
She is huge. Weighs 9 pounds and 3 oz. My total active labour lasted 8.5 hours. About 36 hours of pre labour with contractions so good I had to curl up to get through them.

I'm highly impatient as well lol I just want to start shopping, especially if its a girl we are going to need get all new stuff since my first child was a boy. I feel little movements here and there, like a flutter. I thinly with my son I started feeling movement around week 17-18 so it could very well be movement!
