Elijah's Birth Story

We went to the hospital about 1pm on January 27th because I was having contractions that were about 5 minutes apart. By the time they got me in labor and delivery, I was already 6 to 7 centimeters dilated. So, I got an epidural about that time. The longest part of the whole process was pushing...he had to use a suction to get Eli out. Elijah came into this world screaming at 7:09pm, and we couldn't be any happier or grateful. He is our cerclage miracle and rainbow baby! :)

	Comment from onemor83 » Posted Oct. 27, 2011 12:10pm I just got back from my OB..he said my cervix is open at the bottom but closed at the top..it looks fine but I've been banned from sex due to my placenta..he seems to think the baby is pressing on my nerves causing the pain so I have to relax more & use a pillow under my butt lol if my placenta hasn't moved up in a couple of weeks they will watch me & at the end make a decision whether or not to have me do a c-section..I hope it goes back up..I don't want to be cut :(

	Comment from onemor83 » Posted Oct. 26, 2011 8:34pm I have an appt tomorrow with my OB doctor..I felt my cervix..it seems to have dilated a bit & I've been having a lot of pressure down below..plus having braxton hix so at the moment Im on bedrest..they want to monitor me tomorrow to make sure its not preterm labor...is that the reason you had to have a stitch put in??

I hope I heard the tech wrong cuz 2.2 scares the life out of me lol I go back again in 3 more weeks..Im have an issue with my placenta..they said I have an accessory placental lobe & its down on my cervix.
