Symphonie Rose Howarth's Birth Story

I went in to my OB office for my scedualed 1 week appointment. I was 36 weeks along and so far everything had been fine and perfect. I go in for my blood preasure and weight check and in 1 week I had gained 9 pounds and my blood pressure shot up so bad! When my urine sample was checked there was protine in it. After speaking with my OB I was sent over to the hospital, to labor and delivery where I was admitted for a 24 hour urinealesys test. My protine was up to almost 200 and since it was so close to the 300 mark, my swelling had gotten really bad, and I was feeling really crappy, a c-section was schedualed the the afternoon after the 24 hour pee test. I got my cathiter, was set up for the c-section, got my spinal and in just about 30 minutes or so I could hear my baby's cries.....holding my husbands hand I tried so hard not to just start crying. He left my side to see her, cut the cord, and take some photos. Once everything was cleaned up and stitched up I was taken off to recovery for about 2 hours or so before I finally got to hold her....my beautiful baby girl! I got to give her a kiss before they took her off to get checked, but finally getting to hold her before going into my room where I would be staying the next couple of days was just amazing. We stayed in the hospital for 3 days my hubby and I, keeping our little one in my room with us. After three days we were able to go home, all three of us and it was just amazing....and she is so beautiful!!! <3

You actually made me laugh when you said that it is going against gravity lol. :) But sounds right! What position would you choose? I would really like water birth!

I would have been relaxed if my result was 1:239. But mine is 1:67. I know it could be false positive but still when I have the report in front of me, I could not control myself, I cried a lot. We have also scheduled appt with perinatologist this friday. I am just hoping for the best. I have uploaded my quad test results in MY PHOTOS page. Plz take a look if you can. Thank you
