Alexander Peter's Birth Story

After a very long labor and geting to 10cm's once I started pushng my son was not tolerating the puching so we waited and breathed through more contractions that we're coming every min to min and a half and lasting 45 secs long. After trying to push again and having his heart rate going down the dr said we needed to do an emergency C-section, thankfully since his heart rate was fine when I just breathed through them we had enough time to make it so I was awake and my husband was with us when he was born. Next to my wedding day this had to be the happiest moment of my life. We are home now and although mommy is slow moving still we are all very happy and excited to be home and a new family.

I was able to pump and keep the milk while taking the pain meds. I was in the hospital for 4 days, but I think the doctor just kept me a a little longer because of my son being in the NICU.
