Evangeline Faith's Birth Story
Induction due to GDM at 39 weeks. 2 rounds of Cytotec, balloon cath and NO pitocin! Started the whole induction process at 3am on 5/28, water broke at 7pm with epidural shortly after, started moving down around 330 and pushed for maybe 1.5 hours before she was here! Had to wait 20 mins for doc (man is it hard to hold it in!) She was estimated to be 8-8.5 lbs but was 6-11! Love our little girl!I had postpartum preeclampsia and went back to the hospital 2 days after being discharged. Milk production was not happening and had to go to all formula to keep baby fed. Wish I got a better chance at trying to BF but oh well. She's happy and fed!
