Sabrina Jewel's Birth Story

They started my induction Monday night at 10:30p.m., with some medicine. I contracted througout the night and at 10:30a.m. the next morning was moved to L&D. They then started the pitosin. I was 2 cenitmeters dialated. The contractions started to get stronger and around 12:30p.m., I had them administer my eipdural. The process to get it was not fun but the eipidural itself was heavenly. Felt nothing and was able to actually sleep some. Later that afternoon we started noticing some dips in Sabrina's heart rate when I would have a big contraction. The decided to check me and monitor the dips. I was 6 centimeters dialated. However the dips got so severe that they finally had to take me off of the pitosin and after a few more minutes decided it was time for me to have a c-section because Sabrina was not tolerating the contractions. She was delivered via c-section at 9:34p.m.
