Blake Owen 's Birth Story
I had gone to my Dr on Dec 1 and was so uncomfortable she ran the numbers and decided I could be induced. I went the next day at 11am to be induced I walked the halls sat on virthing ball etc ... at 12:30am I received my epi and slept pretty much the whole night. At 8am I felt sick and my Dr came down to check me I was 10cm and ready to push!! I pushed for one hour then they had me rest 1 hr too see if the baby would drop more because he wasnt budging. I rested one hour and then resumed pushing the next hour and a half. My Dr came in and told me that with my old bones at 41 it wasnt happening that if I wanted I could try for one more hour to push but I was exhausted so she ecided to do a C section . Although I was in the hospital 4 days and recovery is rough I have a perfect little baby boy and that is worth all the pain I have endured. Blake will be 2 months old and is growing like a week but not sleeping in his crib well or through th night yet !! I tried nursing him but he was loosing too much weight not getting enough and i wasnt producing enough. I breast fed for 2 1/2 week and my milk dried up in less than 7 days but he took well to the formula but I has trouble with the platex bottoles wit too much gas!! The best thing in the world is the Dr Brown bottoles he is uch a happy baby now and no gas !|
