Waiting for the Heart Beat

Dr. Gomez was SO excited. She's been there as I've been through blood sugar and anemia problems, a broken vertebrae, and very painful lady troubles. She knew that Bill and I are not the type to force our will, but I think she knows I've had all the longings women my age do have.
I've never had a doctor do this before but she picked up the phone WHILE we were waiting and she called the surgeon who works with my endometriosis and she had him make the "heartbeat" appointment then and there. He will oversee this whole thing until we know there is any reason to be making a new column on our family budget.
Dare I hope!?!?!?
