Wow. I am really shocked at how complicated my boobs just became.
Bill & I told the big news to his sister this weekend and she was quick to offer clothes and books and even two different breast pumps. I am so relieved to have such a major expense covered, but I will admit it is overwhelming. I mean, the tubes and the pads and the creams and the bags and the bottles and the "hands free" bra -- whatever that means. I just can't believe there is so much involved. (You should have seen Bill's face when he came in to help carry this stuff to the car! priceless.) Debbie was great to kind of give me a crash course in how to use it, but all I could think of was an episode of either Sesame Street or Reading Rainbow where they visited a dairy farm and it looked like the poor beasts were on life support. There were tubes hanging and machines sucking...
I'm suddenly having second thoughts about being a working mom!
