Snot Fun

Before I began this pregnancy journey, I'd never heard that an increase of mucus production was a possible pregnancy symptom. What?!?!!??!! How nasty! Yet, from the third week on, I've had sinus headaches and even an infection. I took a z-pack antibiotic and seem to be over the infection, but the stuffy nose, coughing and blowing just don't stop. So weird. I mean, I was ready for the nausea and irritability, but snot?!??!!!! Not fun.

 | Comment from knicole27 » Posted May. 22, 2012 1:54pm Yep!! i am a SNOT MACHINE since pregnancy. I have to have a box of tissues next to the bed and tissues in my purse at ALLLLLL times. It drives me nuts!!! I am 23 almost 24 weeks and still have crazy snot all the time, snot, stuffed nose and .. phlegm now. Yes phlegm. I actually have to hock loogies now. Its disgusting. Your totally not alone though. |
