2 ER visits in 2 days!!!

So I have vertigo and it hit me bad the other day :( so I went to the ER just to be safe, it did not end well.
I waited 3 hours!!! The doc was a idiot! He didn't spend but 5mins with me! He pulled in this old scanner, it took him 5mins to figure it out did the scan and said 'no heartbeat yet and by this your 5 weeks, but everything else looks good'
I told him that was way off and that im closer to 9 weeks and all he said was I should go by this and not my dates, he than gave me something for the threadworms, a class D drug that will KILL this baby, I was floored and I went home in tears, the next day I could not handle it, something was off, either he was or something was wrong. I spent all morning on the phone trying to find someone to take me and do another scan, even if I had to pay for it, the baby should have had a heartbeat!
So I end up in tears at my family doc, he told me to go straight to memorial Hs, passing 2 other HS on the way, that they would do a full work up and they did. Nice ppl, funny doctor, wish I could deliver there but its 45mins away lol, So after 2 days or crying I spent 6 hours at memorial, got blood work done, PREFECT, urine done PREFECT and the scan came back PREFECT down to the very day 8 weeks 4 days (this was last night) and the baby had a STRONG 178 heartbeat! I didn't get to see :( but I will soon enough, and this ER doc was PISSED that this other doc would give me a class D drug, he is going to report it for me. I feel 10x better!
Based on the heartbeat id say its a girl (my husband called girl from the get go) we want a boy, but if its not, its ok, we will be happy with whatever God blesses us with!
Ok I'm tired now!

My bubs was 171at 8 weeks and its a boy, you can't tell much from the HB in the early stages, you might still get your boy :) Sorry that doc was such an idiot, I had a similar experience with an incapable doctor at 18 weeks, he told me my placenta was falling apart... I just had some simple spotting, anyway I really hate some docs! |
