Don't take the little things for granted you never know when they will be gone, found out hubby has stage 3-4 non Hodgkin lymphoma don't know the sub name yet or the grade, has a busy week full of doc appts Wed EKG to make sure his heart can handle chemo, Thur has catheter put in his chest to get chemo through, Fri sees oncologist to find out what lymph-node and bone marrow biopsy found out, whether its stage 3 or 4 depends on if its in the bone marrow, the lymph-node biopsy will tell what type of non Hodgkin and what grade so they can treat it. This week he's went down hill quick, cant go to work at all I have to drive him everywhere because of the pain meds and he just can't focus, I have taken over all the stuff he used to do like the shopping and paying all the bills and just everyday stuff we take for granted. I miss my hubby, we can't do a whole lot together because walking out of the house to the car wears him out at times. I have my step granddaughter 6 days a week in the morning since he can't work my step son does his shift. My little boy Creed is being amazing trying to get him potty trained in all this started this morning and he is scared of his little potty thing :) I just wish everything could go back to normal and hopefully it will eventually. I can't afford my doc appts because we have to pay $50-$100 upfront for his plus $45 for his meds, my appts are $200 up front at each visit and the next one is supposed to be $450 yeah right! So I'm calling the doc office tomorrow to explain our situation and let them know I can't pay up front hopefully they will still see me. I can't wait to meet my new son 98 days to go :)

I, in some way , can relate. I had a close family member diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer. It was tough seeing her deteriorate during chemo and just not herself. But with prayer and faith she overcame it all and is in remission for 3 years now. Have faith and God will lead the way. (:
