Been so much happening I'm a few weeks behind, so just hijacking the format from Pookerdook's journal for now!

How Far Along: 31 Weeks & 1 day

How Big is the baby: 15.2 to 16.7 inches long and weighs about 2.5 to 3.8 pounds on average. She'll be getting her size estimated next week since I have GD so we'll see!

Symptoms: Lots of cramps and contractions (been to L&D several times since the last journal, 3x in the last 2 weeks). Having trouble sleeping at night from my hips hurting too. Dizzy spells seem to be a little less since I've started my diabetic diet so maybe it was my sugar being off doing it?

Emotions: Still struggling with depression and trying to stay in a good mood. Typically crying at least 3-4 times a day (usually much more often) so emotions are kind of all over. Starting to see a counselor on the 17th.

Something Funny That Happened: My DH hasn't really felt Hadley move too much since she's shy when he touches my belly and he doesn't really think to feel for her moving unless I bring it up. So a couple nights ago she was on a squirming spree and I had him walk over and stick his hand right where her foot was hitting. She kicked him smack in the palm and he jumped back and was like WHOA!!! Said it freaked him out cause he hadn't felt anything but small movements until then...I thought it was hilarious!

Best moment of the Week: Getting the nursery almost finished....such a huge relief! Just need a few more things...

Movement: Mostly she goes nuts right when I go to bed at night kicking and punching me. The rest of the day she moves some but usually just wiggles her feet which are crammed right in between my boobs it feels like. I'm pretty sure she's almost out of room in there!

Maternity Clothes: I've had a huge belly growth spurt the past couple weeks and now none of my maternity shirts are long enough to cover the bump. Having to double up on shirts is really annoying when you're already roasting alive half the time! Hoping to get some longer shirts this week if I can find any.

Stretchmarks: I have a few on the top part of my belly but so far nowhere else!

Sleep: I get up to pee 1-2 times an hour all night long thanks to the GD. It's very annoying especially since it takes forever to get comfortable and fall back asleep afterward.

Food cravings: Sweets...which I can't have anymore. Resorted to sugar free options, but they aren't the same :(

What I Miss: Sleeping and feeling like a 'normal' person who isn't in pain all the time!

What I'm Looking Forward To: Finding out how big Hadley is next week and figuring out with my OB how this GD is going to affect my delivery options.

Milestone: Getting baby shower invites sent out in the next couple days...only 3 weeks left and the people 'hosting' haven't exactly been on the ball!

Question(s): How do I talk to my OB about irritable uterus? I am starting to think I have it from what I've read but she hasn't said anything about it and just keeps telling me I have to deal with all these contractions and cramps even though they aren't 'normal'. Very frustrated =/
