26 Weeks & Contractions

I'm 26W4D and I'm having cramping, back pain (like back cramping), and contractions. It started last night about 5pm out of nowhere and after 45 mins of chugging water and laying on my left side it was just getting worse so we called the doctor and they sent us off to L&D.
Luckily the contractions were just painful BHC (they think) and I was not dilating. I kept having them for about 2 hours after we were there so they did some kind of swab test to check to see if I was in pre-term labor. We found out it was negative a half hour later...Thank God!!! They finally concluded that baby is laying in exactly the wrong position and irritating everything. I had no infections or anything and baby was perfectly active and at about a 158HR.
They gave me a million different things to do at home to try to get the cramping to stop and told me to time the contractions if they are consistent for a half hour. I'm still having them today but it's roughly 2 an hour, sometimes 3, so nowhere near pre-term labor status. It was definitely scary last night when they kept talking about what they would do if the test was positive! Made my heart race and I was terrified Nugget was coming early. We don't have the nursery finished or anything except a single onsie for baby at this point and our baby shower isn't for another 2 months! Makes me so nervous to have this going on and we have nothing ready at all... :(
