NT Scan

Yesterday, 14 March 2013 we went for our NT Scan (12wks 6 days) with a Dr. Engela Steyn (she's a Sonographer but was an Obstetrician and Gynaecologists, now she specializes in Abnormality scans in pregnancy and has a waiting list of 6wks).
What an amazing experience, I forgot what it felt like to be excited with every scan. Seeing how your baby has developed and changed and the little personality inside the womb. What an amazing experience.
Anyways, she did all the measurements and reported this little one as PERFECT. Which is always what a Mother wants to hear. A lazy little bugger of course (typical boy) and when she woke him up with lots of proding he threw a tantrum of note with arms and legs flying. Until he eventually settled into his sleep position again and rolled over and that was that. lol
What a great experience to share with my Husband. He walked out of there with this grin on his face, proud Father and definitely proud of his little creation. A Son. He however was hoping for a girl, my deep inside I knew this would be a boy. No idea why. But a Mother Intuition is a great thing.
Our little man's due date is 20 Sept and I'm hoping to go VBAC route however, should this not be possible then we're looking at 6 - 13 September to decide on the c-sec.
There's nothing like a Mothers love and bond with her boys. Ah bless his little heart this one is loved deeply already. Now everything is so much more real. I'm going to be a Mommy to boys, house full of boys and I cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
