The start of 12 weeks

Yesterday was the beginning of 12 weeks, my baby is about the size of a lime! As I near the second trimester, I want to know if this sickness will ever let up. About 4 days ago, I wasn't able to hold down food or drinks at all and it took 6 hours for the doctor to call me back. I started to shows symptoms of dehydration, but no one was home to help me. My husband and daughter went to the grocery store to get light things and popsicles and the medicine the doctor finally called in. She told me that if I was showing any signs of dehydration after 24 hours of no liquids/food then I need to go to ER. It had been well over 24 hours by the time she actually called me...32 hours actually. When I got that medicine I was instructed to wait 30 minutes before eating. More waiting. I was feeling so much better! I drank icees and ate popsicles and drank water, juice, and my dairy ease. Total I got between 50-90 ounces of actual drinks, the rest was water logged food and smoothies. 2 days go by and I start feeling sick again, I can only eat 2 times a day. Fast forward to today: 12 weeks 1 day and I still take the medicine or else lose my food. Yesterday I thought I was finally over the hurdle, but no I ended up not being able to eat anything. The only food I had was 1 small slice of pizza and a nasty 1 cup cantaloupe smoothie (we didn't have much fruit, so no real options). 24 hours later I'm able to eat again (today). Other than the random bouts of nausea, I'm not sleepy, or having any other problems. I am starting to show and my pants aren't liking me anymore. 1 more week until the second trimester, where everything gets better as long as you believe it (2 more according to the new due date) and even better than that 5-6 weeks until we get to know the gender! Here's to hoping for a girl!
