Very sick at 16 weeks 3 days

Dh left to go make some easy money taking a friend's mom somewhere she needed to go. When he got back, he fed our daughter some food he brought from work a couple days before, the mayo was spoiled. I worked with Ruby for a few minutes getting her to eat some honey and take a vitamin. That night, I was sick. The whole works..vomiting and diarrhea. I didn't get any sleep. I was up every hour at least trying to hold down water or a popsicle, nothing worked. In the morning, a friend told me I should call my doctor and tell her I wasn't able to hold down anything. I called and started in with the same message I left before, the only difference was the nurse transferred me to the triage nurse line. I told Jackie my symptoms and she told me that diarrhea and vomiting cause dehydration faster than just vomiting and she booked me an appointment with a different doctor at a different hospital. 1:30p took forever, my mom took me to the doctor. In the room the doctor asked me how I was feeling (dumb question doc) and hooked me up to get a view of baby. I weigh 103 (didn't gain but didn't lose!) my blood pressure was 64/90 and she had to check a few times, my pulse was 112. Baby was measuring 16 weeks 6 days (3 days ahead), heartbeat of 161, weighs 6 ounces. I got a picture to keep, even though it wasn't a very good picture, all you could see was spine, but I suppose since baby was asleep, thats all I could get. He recommended I go to the hospital to get IV fluids, so he called my preferred hospital..booked, then called the hospital I was in...not booked, so I went upstairs and stayed a few hours (3.5 hours) receiving IV fluids (2 bags) and a smaller bag of zofran. Since I felt better, they let me go back home. When I got home all I did was drink water, in the morning I drank more water and tried some cream of wheat...couldn't keep solids down...bad idea. So every snack since then, I just drink water..not very satisfying. I have another appointment in 3 days, time was going so slowly, but when I got sick I wasn't watching the calendar. So the days are getting nearer and nearer and I hope she is still a girl (I bought a dress...couldn't control myself..) anyway. Next week is Christmas!!
