Scary!

Had a bit of a scare this weekend. Incredibly painful cramping and stabbing pains with light spotting. Spent the night at the hospital under observation. There was a concern that I was miscarrying or that it was ectopic (tubal). Bed rest for the weekend, and drank a pint of prune juice.
Finally had a bowel movement (after four days) and felt better. Drank some more prune juice on Sunday and ate a meal of steak and broccoli and felt much better by the evening. Had a check up today that included an ultrasound and lab draw. Everything looks to be on track. There was a gestational sack but they weren't looking for a heartbeat today.
Beta's came back at 15000, which is good since they were 7400 on Saturday. The ultrasound they did Friday night was inconclusive so it was nice to know that they got a clearer read today. I go back on Friday for another ultrasound, at which point we're hoping to get the heartbeat. Depending on how that ultrasound goes we may or may not cancel the one originally scheduled for August 2nd.
