Scared for twin baby B
By babynique22 » Posted Feb. 7, 2013 2:18pm - 306 views - 2 comments

So yesterday I had my weekly ultrasound to check on the babies and my health. I had some scary news annouced to me that took me by shock. So here is the story.
The doctor does an internal ultrasound to check to see if the babies were okay and if the SCH had gotten bigger. Well the good news was the SCH had not gotten bigger. In addition it moved from the top of my uterus to the bottom of my uterus. So doctor said I should expect to have some bleeding present and do not be alarmed unless it is massive bleeding. However, when checking the babies. Baby A was developing great. Had a strong healthy heart beat at 156 bpm. Measuring at 7 weeks 3 days. Doc said great development for the baby. Then doc said baby B is growing but they are concern with the baby because the gestational sac looks collopased. They the baby is still developing though. Had a stronger heartbeat then before at 112 bpm. Which was higher than last weeks heart beat at 95 bpm. Doc also said the baby had a little bit of grow but not that much. The baby was measuring at 6 weeks 4 days. which mean it only grew only 3 days worth. in a 6 day time frame.
SO the doctor proceeded to tell me that the baby has a 50/50 chance of survive or miscarriage. That it was hard to tell right now because the baby is still developing normal. So we shall see what's going on over the course of a few weeks.
