First Prenatal Appointment In January

Today I stayed home from work because I have had horrible flu like symptoms and my stomach has been upset. However, I was actually productive. I called and made my first prenatal appointment. I am scheduled to meet with Dr. Cafferata on January 15th. I will be exactly 9 weeks that day and I'm hoping she'll do an ultrasound. So excited. I think everything is going fine with the baby but I can't help but worry. I've never made it to 5 weeks before. So glad I haven't had any bleeding. I have had a little cramping but I guess that's normal. I wish I could get an appointment for an earlier date but I know it's normal for them not to see you until about that time. My HPT lines have been getting darker so that does make me feel better, but I really want to see my baby!
