odds of having twins

Maternal Age.
Studies have found that there is an increase hyper-ovulation in women over the age of 35. Because so many women are waiting until later in life to start their families, we have seen a rise in the twinning rate overall.

Another article said that when we eat dairy products this makes ovulation go crazy and increases our twin chances, without thought at the time, the month I got pregnant ,I was dairy crazy, hadnt eaten cheese and all that jazz in years, but I suddenly had a crazy urge to go dairy crazy.

here it is:

Dairy products have chemicals paving the way for hyper ovulation and higher dosage of these food groups can increase the likelihood of having twins. Another aspect to look at is on the area of experiencing multiple pregnancies in the past. If you are a mother to twins and is expecting to have another set of twin babies then your chances are high. Based on studies, women mothering twins have four times expected to have another for the second or third time.

I have had one previous twin pregnancy.so that ups my chances.Remember I am researching because the feeling I was having twins came first!
I am over 35.

Age matters. One reason for the increased incidence of multiple births in the United States is the trend toward delaying pregnancy. The incidence of twins increases for women over the age of 35 and even more if you are over 50. To put it in perspective, your chance of giving birth to twins if you are under 25 years of age is less than half of what it would be after the age of 35.

Eating Dairy Products.
Another study done a few years ago has shown that women who consume dairy products, as opposed to those who don't seem to be five times more likely to get pregnant with twins. Probably linked to the insulin-like growth factor (IGF).

Already Having A Set Of Twins.
It seems that women who have already had a set of fraternal twins are a bit more likely to have another set of twins as opposed to a woman who has only had singletons. This may be linked to the hyper-ovulation gene.
