I seriously hope this isn't happening

Two days ago I was in constant contraction, not regular but from when I woke up to the middle of the night every 10-20 min. Then yesterday I still had them (actually I have them all the time because of my irritable uterus) but not nearly as often, though more tender. Then sometime during the day he moved down. I am only 33 weeks, I sure hope this doesn't mean he is trying to come early. I am praying he makes at least to term!

Comment from sassysacha » Posted Dec. 20, 2013 8:21am No I am not being checked unless I go into L&D. Though with my next apt I have a growth scan and I am sure after everything that is going on that most likely will have my cervix measured by u/s again. So I will find out more on Mon I hope. I also contract all day long. They never stop for any long period of time. Now that he has dropped a bit the tightenings feel different.
Comment from Bostonmama08 » Posted Dec. 19, 2013 7:12pm I overdid it Xmas shopping yesterday and my IU was in constant contraction mode....scared me. Today its calmed down...and I decided not to go to Labor and Delivery. I get a cervical check next week....do you get them often with your IU? My doctor agreed to a cervical check once a week because I contract all day....at least once an hour (bad days it will be every 3 minutes for a few hours). Angry uteruses are just awful! I always wonder if its hurting the baby.....
Comment from sassysacha » Posted Dec. 19, 2013 2:23pm Thank you. I'm sure he will for at least a few more weeks. I had a talk with my good friend, I honestly don't feel like it will be immediate any more. Just have to watch my cranky uterus and a bit unnerving. I need to remember to take a deep breath and not panic!!
