Seriously he disengaged?

He has been head down for months, and he dropped around about three weeks ago, and last week we couldn't see his face on u/s because he was engaged. When I took my last bump photo and compared it to last week there was a HUGE difference. I was shocked, so shocked I was showing my OB and we were laughing about it. Then when she measured my belly she said he has a ways to drop yet. WHAT?? SERIOUSLY?? Well that makes sense why my belly looks so different, but move back up? I am just a tad bit disappointed. I don't like going backwards.
