Today I was super excited to see how far along I was dilated and effaced. Lets just say I haven't gained any weight, blood pressure is good, heart rate of baby good, I'm not sure about measurement (doctor didn't say anything) and only 50% effaced ! This was a huge disappointment to me :(. I really don't want a c-section and my doctor always seems to be out of the office doing c-sections. Though she did schedule an apointment for me to go get a gel (not exactly sure what type) applied to my cervix Thursday because she doesn't want me going past my due date on the 14th. She didn't say why exactly she did not want me to go over my due date which I feel a little skeptical about. So on Thursday I shall be going to the Labor & Delivery at 12:00 to get the gel application and be hooked up onto monitors for 2 hours. Let's hope it helps me Dialate a bit :).
