Prostaglandin gel appt. update

So I arrived at L&D at 11 but my doctor didn't show up till 12 to insert the gel. Before I got the gel I was hooked up to monitors and my cervix was checked. I am now 60% effaced, fingertip dilated, but cervix still really high -_-. The gel was inserted through a syringe onto my cervix. Within 12 minutes I started feeling pressure in my bottom and tightness in my giny. After being on the monitors for two hours I was sent home. No other symptoms yet.
