High Risk Pregnancy with low PAPPA

I had my nuchal translucency scan today. Everything looked good and the risk of defects were low based on that scan. Except that my PAPPA (Pregnancy-Associated Plasma Protein A) levels were low. The doctor wants to get more blood tests done in two weeks and another ultrasound to check details when I'm 18wks. I'm a little concerned, but she said not to worry to much right now. What this means exactly is that I'll need more ultrasounds to watch the growth of the baby and check my placenta which the low numbers indicate is malfunctioning which means risk of Intrauterine Growth Restriction, Premature Birth, Preeclampsia, and Stillbirth.
