Today I am 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I felt nausia for the first time; I felt it when I opened a tin of tea at work. It was a bit surprising. I have only felt mild cramping and lots of gas until now. I also got a headache a few times today. I keep feeling hungry and when I eat, I find that I am not that hungry. I really want chocolate and fruit; not together but in general. I picked up some prenatal vitamins today. I still am not sure what I should and shouldn't be doing. I am all kinds of nervous, just hope that I am doing all the right stuff. I have an appointment with a doctor on September 9th. They wouldn't see me till I am between 8 and 10 weeks. I will be 9 weeks 2 days on the 9th. It seems like a lifetime from now till then, I am so nervous I just might go crazy waiting. I am just going to take it day by day and try and keep track of everything that I am feeling.

Thank you so much Sianny and Ivlolo24. I went to the pharmacy and picked up the prenatal vitamins you mentioned and I also picked up a copy of What to Expect When You're Expecting. I really appreciate all the advice and support, I know I need it. :) I am already feeling better having the vitamins and book. :)

For your prenatal vitamins make sure they contain DHA fish omega-3 fat supplement in it. Its benefits the development of the fetus and brain devlopment. The vitamins I like are called Nature Made® Prenatal Multivitamin. They are inexpensive and you can find them in any Target or Walgreens. Congrats and H&H 9 months!!

I found the book 'What to expect when you're expecting' worth its weight in gold when I fell pregnant with my son. So much useful bits to help and reassure.
Also the app from baby centre is great for on the go.
Congratulations x
