I am 6 weeks 3 days today. I experienced the worst back pain this afternoon, it came with a stomach ache as well. The back ache had me dying to take some pain killers, but I don't want to harm my little seamonkey with any medicine so I rode the pain out. If it happens again I will call my doc and ask if there is anything I can do or take for it. I just hope it doesn't happen anytime soon again. haha I also have an increased thirst, I always have my water bottle at my side. One weird thing is that I can taste everything I eat for a long time after I eat so I am brushing my teeth after every single meal. haha It is amazing all the little things that I am noticing the bigger my little one gets.

Thank you. I will definetly try this out. I am also afriad of taking pain killers, I feel it is better to play it safe. haha I just ordered a body pillow, and can not wait for it to come in.

I had bad back pain at 6 weeks and still suffer from it some days at 26 weeks. I too was too scared to take any pain killers so I opted for other remedies. Try placing a heat pad on the sore area and that will relieve you for a while and its safe for baby. I also got relief by laying on my left side on the carpet floor with a body pillow between my legs. The hard ground allowed me to straighten my back. Once you are further along I suggest doing prenatal yoga. That has immensely helped me to stretch my back out! Good luck and hope you get relief soon!
