Placenta Previa
By *Roselyn* » Posted Apr. 14, 2018 3:56pm - 258 views - 5 comments

So, had my 24 weeks appt (24w3d) on Monday, and placenta is still low, partially covering the cervix. I thought it'd move by this time. There is still hope, though. Next appt is May 7th, and I pray it's gonna be out of the way. I really don't want a c-section or be a high risk pregnancy. It would suck. Also, scary. Last time I almost bled to death due to retained placenta, and this time placenta is screwing me again! lol... Can't wait till my next appt to know for sure.

Thanks, Celenes Mommy!
Yeah, it is nice to see the baby more this time around but I'd rather have the placenta in place lol

Ninni, I am glad you had a good experience with the c-section. It's my worst nightmare, besides being anything wrong with the baby or me, of course. I have a good natural birth last time although it was long, and placenta got stuck which was the worst part of it all. But I hope this time it's not the case. Man, this pregnancy stuff is scary lol

I have the same issue with my placenta. Going for a check up ultra sound in week 32 (end of May). I am kind of hoping for another C-section this time. Was very happy with the experience last time.

I had a low laying placenta and my son was breech. I went for many ultrasounds did everything they recommend and ended up having a c-seaction it was my 1st I had 4 vaginal prior ... it was scary as he'll recovery was hard and I suffered post partum depression ... looking back there wasn't anything that really could have been done different. I made a full recovery and am in love with my amazing family. I wish the best of luck prayers for your family. Keep in the back of your heart how happy you will be when it's all completed no matter the challenge you got this

Fingers crossed it moves and all is well. Sorry to hear you're having trouble.
