Spotting and Doubts
By cbrown0815 » Posted Jul. 25, 2013 6:29am - 210 views - 2 comments

Not even sure if it qualifies as spotting or not. I've been pretty much scared to go to the restroom for the entirety of this pregnancy. Last night I though i saw some discoloration. This morning when i went to check with TP, (TMI- I sort of went 'digging') I saw what looked like 2 spots of brown goop. Although it was 2 really small amounts (size of a pen tip), it's enough to have me put on a pantyliner and monitor it for the rest of the day. After I checked with TP, I checked my cervix. It doesn't seem as closed as it did last week, although it's a bit soft there was no blood. I haven't really been experiencing any symptoms, so I can't base it off that. I know spotting can be common and not to worry about it, but what else can you do? I feel like I'm on a bad start to motherhood. I'm all negative. I'm convinced this won't be a viable pregnancy. It's like I've been waiting for this every since I saw that extra line on that stick. I'm not going to be convinced until the second trimester (if i get that far). Only halfway there. This is going to be a long summer.

We are almost the same amount of time pregnant, and I am going through the same thing as you. But, in my case, I am cramping and clotting....with red blood. So far the baby is doing fantastic, but I personally am not. My cervix seems wide open and I also feel this pregnancy is doomed. makes it really hard to be happy....so I know how you are feeling. My doctor keeps telling me its all "normal" but I am not a moron. I can feel something is not right, so I think what you are feeling is normal when things are not going as planned.....all giddy, happy and smooth.
