Goodbye baby B

Heard both hb's on the 30th. Doc said miscarriage rate was really low and shouldn't worry. Had an NT scan on the 6th. Baby A was great! We knew something was wrong when she didn't look over Baby B and just got the doctor. Baby B had no blood flow, no HB and was measuring 2-3 weeks behind already. Doc said the sac should reabsorb and they don't have to do anything. Regular OB wanted me to come in to discuss the 'results' of the NT scan. Heard the baby's hb. Found out this wasn't vanishing twin like I thought. Doc said it was to late to call it that. He also said it wouldn't totally reabsorb, it'd be more like a hiding, smaller twin. We were totally ON BOARD with twins. Reading all the books and just getting into it. Little guy almost made it to the second trimester. It's sad, but we are both okay. Just putting all the love on baby A. Hope everything turns out ok.
