I never knew how attached I was already to baby

We were excited, happy, over joyed every emotion under the sun from the moment we found out we were having a baby. This wednesday however was the first really strong attachment feeling for both of us. I woke up to some bleeding when I would wipe, of course i panicked because it was bright red and hubby and I changed our day's plans and spent 4 hours at the ER. I had my Beta qualitative HCG checked and thankfully I hadn't experienced any cramps or pain whatsoever.
We had a ultrasound and got to see the gestational sac and yolk (we were dated as being 5weeks and 6 days, exactly what we had calculated. Baby looked well implanted and the only thing they can think of that caused the bleed was a collapsed ovarian cyst on my left ovary. The bleeding had slowed during the external part of the ultrasound and had stopped after the internal pelvic scan and the cervix had closed.
Once my Beta HCG came back at 20,208 and I was still not in any pain they were happy to send me home. I returned today, almost being sick on the way in! which we had hoped was a good sign, the ER dr's took more blood and re-checked my Beta HCG and gave me some Zofran and iv fluids. a few hours later my results were in and they'd jumped to 30,496 in just two days. I have a referral to see an OB early and they said it looks as though it was either a random bleed or it was the cyst, either way they will monitor it through my OB and wished us a happy and healthy pregnancy!
