Not Miscarrying After All!!
By heartberry » Posted Sep. 13, 2015 7:55pm - 446 views - 3 comments

So, I had some brown discharge Friday, a lighter test at FMU Saturday and bright red spotting last night. As you can imagine after 2 miscarriages (both in September also, btw) I pretty much lost all hope and cried the ugly cry for a while last night. I knew that I had a 2nd blood test this morning and was expecting the worst.....so imagine how I felt when they called me to tell me that my HCG level more than doubled! They were were hoping for 50% higher and I went from 104 to 234 in 2 days!!! How is this possible after those 3 scares?!? I'm still in shock and beyond excited and I will no longer be taking any pregnancy tests. I will also trust in the knowledge that some spotting and discharge is completely normal so I won't freak out anymore. :) Now I just wait for the ultrasound on Oct. 3rd!!!! Then it will become real to me and especially to my husband who doesn't have a biological child yet. Thank you to all of you beautiful, helpful moms out there who helped comfort me through this rough weekend. Much appreciated and let me know if I can do anything to help you! I've been going through infertility for over 2 years and have done/been through everything, pretty much. P.S. Check out my photo of the last 3 FMU tests. The one in the middle is the lighter one from yesterday and this is proof that it's OK to have a lighter line once in a while! It's not a miscarriage sentence!! :)
