2nd beta = Reassuing News

Went to get a second beta HCG today. 6 days after the first one on May 11, which came back at a good 67, I needed this 2nd result to put my mind at ease at least until the first u/s. After waiting all day for the results, finally at 6pm, they came back at 1521. Phew! Doubling rate of 31.97 hours, or 1.3 days. So relieved bean seems to be growing well.
That being said, I have one last FRER test which will be used tomorrow morning! I also keep temping... I can't help myself. I have to wait till next week to see my doc to see what happens next. I suspect he will send me for a dating u/s, and then I will be sent to the maternity clinic for all future care.
I don't want to jinx myself, because anything can happen, but the 2nd beta has given me some relief and reassurance that this pregnancy is looking good. I will just have to wait for another few weeks to get scheduled for an u/s to see the heartbeat! Such an amazing sight.
