I started a new job, which has me walking and standing a lot more than my last one. I expected my feet to hurt, or my legs, but they've actually been fine. What really hurts is the... bottom? of my stomach. I don't know how to describe it, I guess it's the part right above the bikini line. I don't think there's a word for it : / But anyway, after standing all day, that part of my belly aches, like I'd been exercising it. I guess it's because it's holding my uterus up more now? I mean, when I'm sitting, it's not like my stomach really has any work to do, buy when I'm standing, I guess it doesn't get the support it needs? My stomach isn't really all that big yet, but it's bigger than it's ever been, so I'm going to guess that's what it is. I see my midwife 2 Saturdays from now, so I'll ask her then, but I doubt it's anything serious.

Additionally, I had some kind of weird reaction to a new deodorant I'm using. The skin on my armpits cracked and are really really sore. And the skin is red, but something white is sitting on top? I wash it off 4 times a day, but I'm starting to think it's a fungus or something? I stopped using the deodorant, and today I'm starting to put on some of that skin cream that comes with monostat, to see if it does anything. At first I thought it was an allergy, so I was putting on anti-histamine cream, but it didn't do anything at all, so maybe it was a fungus all along? Could I have gotten it from the deodorant, or is that probably a coincidence? : / Hmm...

Also, I'm definitely feeling the baby. It's not every day, but most days around 1 pm I'll feel something... fizzy almost, is what it feels like, in the bottom of my stomach. Usually I'll feel it on the bus, moving around, but mostly on the right hand side. I sometimes also feel it in the evenings, right before I fall asleep. Really excited about it, I love feeling my baby move. Sometimes if I rub my stomach near where I usually feel them, they start to move. :D

My wife is wondering if it might be possible for me to be having twins. My father was a twin, and it sort of runs in my family on his side, plus my wife has enjoyed feeling my belly for the uterus and talking and "playing" with the baby, even though she still can't feel anything on the outside, and we've been feeling my uterus for a month now, and it feels like it might be above the bellybutton already, even though the guides say it shouldn't be for another couple weeks or so. I had an ultrasound at 11 weeks, and they only saw one baby, but a few of my friends say that maybe the baby was hiding, because they know somebody, and their friend/cousin/sister/whatever had a hidden twin, and since it runs in my family to watch out for a hidden twin. But I'm pretty sure it isn't, since at my last visit the midwife felt the uterus and said everything is right on track. She'd know if I was growing too quickly for it to be one baby, wouldn't she? That's another thing to ask in 2 weeks.
